And then there were Five - PCV's that is

So we are FINALLY ready to apply for formal approval for the construction!
It has taken 5 months (and 2 building coordinators - we now have a new one, who has been fantastic so far!) from when we first put down our deposit, but contract signing and PCV's are done, we have a figure to take to the bank.
In summary:
Signed contract for the 3bedroom Montrose with Grand Alfresco
PCV1 - fixing some minor changes on the contact - this was done on the day of the contract
PCV2 - Changed house to the 4 bedroom design (yes, just to get niches in the showers)
PCV3 - Double basins to ensuite (these didn't fit in the 3BR plans)
PCV4 - Electrical changes for 4th BR (just so it matches all the other rooms!
PCV5 - Add allowance for fencing/driveway (requirement by our bank)

So glad it's all done! No more annoying my BC with questions, no more stressing over plans or making sure things haven't been left out, and no more stressing about the end budget - we have a final total to apply for the loan!
Now let's keep our fingers crossed the loan doesn't take too long!

Waiting game

Not much action to report since my last post. Still waiting for paperwork to complete adding the 4th bedroom. We have signed PCV2 and PCV3 to add the 4th bedroom and a few bits and pieces that go along with it all. Now waiting on new plans and PCV4 to add electrical things to the 4th room.
Once we have all that we can proceed with finance and hopefully that's it!

Today we were told we have a new building coordinator. She seems very on the ball and instantly gave me a better vibe than our previous one.
I assume our old BC was fired. I feel a little bad about that, she did improve a lot towards the end, but I'm sure we weren't the only ones that had trouble with her.

Anyway, went to check out the last on the weekend. Houses have started being built nearby which is exciting, and we have a tree on the nature strip!
